Life. It's that crazy thing that involves connections with people, animals, and doing some sort of obligation to society to be able to comfortably live. Every life has a battle. It could be a rocky marriage, a seemingly dead end job, or that relationship in the mirror that never seems to get less complicated.

 

The relationship with that mirror has been one of reflection. Time spent wondering who the person is that you stare at every day would be easier if the facade of social media didn't alter how we relate to the world.  We all want to be the best version of ourselves and often forget that there are a variety of resources to help us do this without funneling down into our own matrixesque version of our own reality. To put it quite frankly, we're all fucking wealthy. Even you reading this right now - you are alive. You're breathing and people love you, Someone is writing, and we're connecting on some level and that's the beauty of art being able to connect people in all different walks of life. Give yourself a pat on the back because being in the moment and realizing the now....in this breath - it is real and it is the only reality we have.​

 

Nobody is an island. While people find it harder and harder to connect with each other, it's imperative we don't forget the connection to ourselves. No matter what tune you're humming, or what weights are weighing down on someone's shoulders - we can only expect best intent of others. Forgiveness outward starts inward.
